MUM* GUILT CONFESSIONAL

In this house, we welcome the weary, the worn out, the weed-upon.

MUM* Guilt Confessional is a two-part experience for anyone who's ever felt like they’re failing at the impossible job of parenting.

At its core is a public installation: the MUM* Guilt Confession Booth. Enter the side marked “Confess” to unburden yourself in the Big Book of MUM* Guilt. Enter the side marked “Absolve” to forgive the confessions of strangers deep in the parenting trenches.

Alongside the booth you are welcomed to a gloriously theatrical MUM* Mass. Led by the robed priestesses of the Ministry of MUM* Guilt, the ceremony is part sermon, part send-up.

Audiences at Darwin Fringe called it “a moving and healing experience,” “a brilliant concept,” and “a must-see for all those guilt-ridden mothers out there.”

Expect laughter, recognition, tears — and a tiny teddie or two.

MUM* Guilt is a love letter to parents. You are not alone. All hail MUM*s.
